As part of the Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM-2023), a dental check-up and awareness camp was organized exclusively for girls to promote oral health and raise awareness. The camp held on May 18, 2023, at NTPC Jhanor Hospital proved to be an informative and empowering experience for all attendees.
Under the banner of dental hygiene, the camp aimed to equip these talented young individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to maintain optimal oral health throughout their lifetime. Led by a team of experienced dental professionals, the camp provided primary dental check-ups for each participant. This allows for early identification of any potential issues, enabling timely intervention and preventative measures.
The dental experts also conducted engaging and interactive sessions, demonstrating proper oral hygiene practices. Through live demonstrations, participants learned the correct techniques for brushing, flossing, and maintaining a healthy oral hygiene routine. Emphasis was placed on the importance of regular dental visits, as well as the role of a balanced diet in promoting optimal oral health.
On this occasion, Dr. Mala Chandwani, Chief Medical Officer of NTPC Jhanor Hospital, and other officials from the NTPC HR department were present.
